We provide free primary care to the uninsured, low-income adults in Kerr and surrounding counties within a compassionate, spiritual based environment. What is primary care?
Broadly, primary care establishes the main or primary point of contact for a patient’s care. It establishes a continuous and ongoing relationship with the same practitioner for routine exams, preventative care, health education, initial and ongoing care for chronic conditions, consultation about new health problems, coordination and collaboration with other providers to address health issues and seeks patient’s participation in the management of their health status. We strive to do this for a diverse group of patients with a wide range of interests and understanding.

We provide examinations, treatment, mental health screenings, and prescription services at absolutely no cost to you.

We treat every patient with dignity and cultural sensitivity in a welcoming spiritual based environment.

We quickly verify your income, residency, and insurance status to get you scheduled for an appointment.

We provide a safe, positive, and welcoming healthcare environment, offering free primary health care and related services. These services are in a convenient location and are performed by a team of dedicated professionals and volunteers. We strive to establish and maintain a long-term relationship with our patients to treat their illnesses, while maintaining and improving their health status.
As a spiritual based clinic, we promote both the physical and spiritual healing of our patients. We permit our providers to pray with our patients, if the patient agrees and if it will improve their physical and spiritual well-being. Sisters Marge and Mary Ann gave clinic staff the challenge to see Jesus Christ in each patient sent to us. Our staff was also charged with interacting with our patients in ways that patients see and experience Jesus Christ in our actions. The Raphael Clinic Experience defines that level of expected interaction.

Our services are free, and we do not receive any governmental funding. Your support
transforms lives in the Texas Hill Country, whether you choose to volunteer your time, donate financially, partner with us or spread the word. Without the support of the community, donors, foundations, volunteers, consulting medical specialists, dedicated providers and employees, and other supporting organizations, we would not be able to provide the primary care needed. The clinic continues to be very blessed, thanks to everyone.
The following are ways you can help. Gifting your medical skills, administrative talents, or providing other services helps support the life-changing care primary care delivered to neighbors who need it most. Donations are used for expenses not covered by the grants we actively seek and obtain. Every dollar you give funds vaccines, medications not provided through our PAP Program, vital medical supplies, and pays for other necessary expenses. Granting agencies use the measure of donations to assess the level of community support for the work of a charitable entity. Growing donations also helps us to retain and keep critical grants. Every dollar we receive has multiple purposes, all for the good of our patients.
*For donors interested in sending checks, please send your donation to Raphael Clinic, PO Box 291729, Kerrville, Texas, 78029. With checks, we can issue an appropriate acknowledgement for tax purposes.
